We look forward to seeing you next year!
The national Evidence-Based School Counseling Conference (EBSCC) empowers the school counseling profession to advance evidence-based, student-centered, and equity-driven practices.
EBSCC seeks to bridge the research-to-practice gap to transform school counseling and educational systems through research-based, practical, and socially-just approaches.
Through a welcoming and action-oriented community, the conference inspires collaboration and innovation to promote student wellness, opportunities, and liberation in schools.
EBSCC welcomes proposals of all types that align with the EBSC framework. Based on feedback from our Practitioner Advisory Board, Advisory Council, and partners across the nation, the following are priority topics for EBSCC 2027:
Addressing students’ mental health, behavioral, and trauma needs alongside academic achievement through evidence-based interventions
Building competence in data-driven strategies through practical tools and application
Partnering effectively with administrators who are unfamiliar with school counselor expertise
Strengthening the implementation and fidelity of Comprehensive School Counseling Programs (CSCP)
We especially invite proposals built on collaboration across presenters, such as:
Inter-professional collaborations (e.g., district leads, school counselors, administrators)
School/university partnerships (e.g., counselor educators and school counselors/school personnel)
Proposal submissions must be received by:

Meeting rooms are arranged theater-style and include a projector, screen, A/V cart, and power supply. Presenters are responsible for bringing their own laptop and any necessary adapters. If your session requires sound or additional equipment, you may provide it yourself or coordinate directly with the hotel at your own expense. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available for presenters only; however, connectivity may be limited, so sessions should not rely heavily on internet access.
