The Indiana School Counselor and Administrator Collaboration Institute is soliciting proposals for presentations promoting critical inquiry and solutions in PK-12 schools to better address students’ social, emotional, academic, and career needs. More specifically, the ISCACI invites inservice and preservice professionals in areas of school counseling and educational leadership to submit a proposal in the domains of student success, college and career readiness, community engagement, educational equity, principal/counselor roles and relationships. As this institute promotes counselor/administrator collaboration in PK-12 schools, priority will be given to proposals which incorporate both roles (i.e., school counselor and administrator collaboration on restorative justice practices). Presentations showcase practical solutions, current research, or skills of value to counselors and administrators, pre-K to post-secondary, as well as district personnel, graduate students, and educational leadership and counselor education faculty.
The institute theme is Collaborating for Student Success! Presentations on that topic are welcome and requested!
Proposals of a political, marketing or for-profit nature will NOT be accepted.
Notice regarding proposal acceptance will be sent via e-mail by the end of April.
The Lead Presenter will receive all communications regarding your breakout session and will be responsible for sharing it with co-presenters, if any.
All co-presenters may register at the standard attendee registration rate.
The discounted presenter rate can be used for the lead presenter. If your session is approved, the Lead Presenter will be emailed a link to the exclusive registration portal for approved lead presenters.
If your co-presenter(s), if any, plan to present the breakout session and then leave, there will be no registration fee. By not registering, they will not be given a name badge, program manual or tote bag, and will not be able to participate in any other sessions or meal functions at the institute.
The deadline for submissions has passed.
