Extended through June 15th!

We look forward to seeing you next year!
School counselors make a Grand Impact on Michigan students, school culture, and the systems that support learning. The MSCA Fall Conference is a chance to share what is working across Michigan and leave with practical ideas you can use right away.
We invite you to submit a proposal for a 60 minute breakout session. If presenting feels like a stretch, you are not alone. First-time presenters are encouraged, and this conference is a supportive space to share your work. Consider teaming up with a colleague to share your favorite parts of your counseling program.
Based on attendee feedback, we are especially interested in sessions focused on the following topics, ranked by popularity:
If your idea does not fit neatly into one of these areas, please submit anyway. We welcome proposals on any topic that strengthens school counseling practice in Michigan and supports student success.
A presenter-led session that shares a program, practice, or key takeaways, with time for questions and discussion. Best for topics where participants are primarily learning from the presenter.
An interactive, skill-building session where participants practice a strategy, use a tool, or develop a plan they can take back to their school. Best when you want participants doing more than listening.
A facilitated discussion for counselors who share a role, setting, or challenge to exchange ideas and problem-solve together. Best for affinity-style learning and collaborative peer support.
Proposal submissions must be received by:
